Electromagnetic pulley is basically composed by a set of rolled mild steel pole shoes of high magnetic permeability. Coils are made from aluminum of copper wires or strips with class insulation. Feeding is made through a bipolar axial slip rings direct current usually 110V or 220V. Available diameters from 250 to 1500mm and length up to 2000mm.
